London ULEZ Expansion announced

On the 29th August 2023 an extension to the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) will come into force across all London boroughs.  Drivers of vehicles what do not meet the emissions standards could face a daily charge of £12.50.

Poor air quality is impacting the health of Londoners, and it’s mainly caused by polluting vehicles. This is not just an issue in Central London, the greatest number of health issues related to air pollution occur in outer London areas and this is why the Mayor of London has decided to expand the ULEZ.

Grants to retrofit

A new vehicle scrappage scheme to help prepare for the expansion of the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) will launch and be open for applications on 30 January 2023.
